Faggots Are Dangerous

4m, 1f, 4nb
In the late fall in their remote lake house, James and Martha are preparing to host a dinner party for a famous gay op-ed columnist and his husband. James has been granted the interview that might finally make him a recognized journalist and Martha just wants to support her husband. The dinner goes well until James receives an ultimatum that will make him question how much he wants fame. On top of that, a group of radical genderqueers breaks into the house and holds the couples hostage. One part home invasion story, one part bleak satire on the battle for power between oppressed and oppressor, Faggots Are Dangerous forces audiences to question their boundaries and ask if there is a price to be paid for freedom.

It's just something that happened

2f, 3m.
Frankie and Eli's shitty summer job is ending soon. Though the summer just started, they find out that the Family Fun Time Bowling Center will be closing its doors at the end of the season. They spend their summer with Billy, the middle aged manager who is doing nothing with his life, and Death (short for Meredith) the gamer girl obsessed with playing old arcade games, as well as the mysterious new employee Christopher. Then, one night at a party in the arcade, something happens that threatens to break apart Frankie and Eli's friendship for good. "It's Just Something That's Over" is a coming-of-age play about friendship and uncertain futures and asks if there are any actions that are unforgivable for friends.

Porch

3m 2f.
After the lives of five people cross late one summer night, they weave in and out of each others lives for the next month. Poet Jeff and the recently dumped Scott have been neighbors for years, but have never really talked. Suddenly, the two, along with Alicia, a tough girl who has her own battles to fight, become friends. Enter Vincent, Jeff's old unrequited love, and Valerie, Scott's cheating ex. Everyone tries to find a balance between saving relationships and nurturing their own heartbreak. Porch is a quiet play that focuses on relationships after they have been irreparably damaged.

JET BOY JET GIRL

3m 2f.
Jet Boy Jet Girl focuses on Jacob, a freshman in high school. When Jacob has his first cigarette with Shane, a senior and the school’s resident ‘bad boy’, his whole life is thrown into turmoil. For one, his friendship with ‘the nice boy next door’ Dan is in danger of collapsing. Jacob is also confused by his feelings for Shane, and, to top it all off, Jacob is surprised by his emotions regarding the disappearance of a young girl from his small town. Jet Boy Jet Girl is a bold new play about finding the balance between who you are and who you want to be, friendships in crisis, and the difficulties of growing up in a culture of sexual ambivalence.

Anything

2m 2f.
As snow begins to fall in the middle of July, four lonesome people search for anything they can call their own. They want more than just a casual sexual encounter; they want to be loved, to feel like they matter, and that they're important. Equal parts bleakly realistic and ethereally fantastic, Anything explores the thoughts and feelings of those who feel alone and hopeless, hearing their views on love, sex, and loneliness.

[Catherine (The Great] Dictionary Girl)

1m 1f.

Art, by Yasmina Reza, Translated by Alex Kump

2m. A silly, irreverent discussion of the purpose and uses of art. Is art found in slam poetry? In high-concept theater? In porn? Our two narrators take us through a dissection of our concepts of what can be art, all while illustrating their discussion.

Should Tomorrow Never Come

2m. Just at the beginning of the zombie apocalypse, Christian shows up at Michael's door. It's the end of the world, and Christian needs to tell his acquaintance something important: that he loves him.

Dial 'M' for Mature

1f, 1 gender inspcific. When Emily's mother kicks her out of the house for not finding a job, she sets about looking for the meaning of life. Along the way, she runs into the geeky boy next door, a carnival psychic, and a talking fish.
